Pink Boots Society Beer

Effervescent Brut IPA was brewed to raise awareness and funds for the Pink Boots Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and advocating for women in the brewing industry.

This year the Pink Boots Society forged a partnership with Yakima Chief Hops to make an exclusive Pink Boots Collaboration hop blend. Each year, Yakima Chief Hops staff and Pink Boots Society members gather around a table filled with hops and go to town. They rub, smell and swim laps in each hop, deciding on which one to use in the recipe for the blend.

The blend for this year consists of a well-rounded mix of Pacific Northwestern hop varieties, including Loral, Mosaic, Simcoe, Sabro and Glacier. These amazing hops combined create a high aroma hop blend that contributes notes of pine, passion fruit and citrus. A perfect compliment to our dry and refreshing brut IPA, Effervescent.

Yakima Chief Hops donates $3 from every pound sold to Pink Boots Society.
