When are you open?

We are open to the public:


Mon - Wed: 3:30pm - 9:00pm 

Thursday: 3:30pm - 10:00pm 

Friday: 1:00pm - 10:00pm 

Saturday: 12:00pm - 10:00pm 

Sunday: 12:00pm - 7:00pm

What is your growler policy?

We will not fill dirty, clear, plastic or ceramic vessels. By law we are only allowed to fill 32oz, 1L, 40oz, 64oz, 2L, 128oz vessels and will not fill anything that does not have the size clearly marked. 


To abide by the laws of the ABC, we are only able to fill growlers from other breweries provided that any and all information (including text, design elements and logos) are completely obscured. 


Guidelines for filling non-MadeWest growlers: 


Prior to arrival at MadeWest, use electrical tape or painter’s tape to completely obscure all growler logos, word marks, design elements and/or text. The growler must be entirely blank. A sleeve or sock that is not affixed to the container is not acceptable. 


MadeWest team members cannot and will not obscure your growler on premise or provide tape for your use.


MadeWest is not responsible for improper seals on any non-MadeWest growlers.

Can I bring my dog to the taproom?

Only quiet, calm, obedient, friendly, well behaved leashed dogs are allowed in the tasting room or on the patio. Dogs must be on a leash within reach of their owner and supervised at all times. Dog owners are responsible for their dog’s actions at all times. Dog owners are responsible for ensuring their pet respects the space and safety of all other guests at all times. If at any given time another guest or an employee feels a dog and/or owner is causing an issue or violating the above policy, they will be asked to leave.

Do you do private events?

The room can be reserved by emailing info(at)madewest(dot)com. Please mention your desired date/time as well as how may people you expect to have in your group and we will get back to you as soon as possible. 


• No outside alcohol is allowed and will not be tolerated. Please make sure all members of your group are aware of this. 

• Outside food/snacks are allowed but we always encourage supporting the food truck if we have one scheduled (see food truck schedule here)

• Groups may pay all-together on one tab or pay individually (If you are paying as a group please inform the bar upon your arrival and leave a credit card with them to secure a tab) 

• No decorations are allowed that adhere to the walls. 

• Please remove/discard all your decorations/food when you leave.

Do you allow party busses?

Party busses are allowed at MadeWest but are not permitted after 2pm.

Do you make donations?

MadeWest does not offer monetary donations, provide financial support, sponsorships, or raffle items. 


If your event is under 60 days away it will be declined. If the donation request is made by anyone other than a representative of the benefiting charity, it will be declined.


We can only donate beer to groups in CA that have pulled a temporary "daily license" under the non-profit's name from the CA State ABC office. Due to budget restrictions, not all donations that follow these guidelines will be approved. All donations must be picked up at MadeWest Brewing Company in Ventura, CA.


AT MADEWEST WE DO SUPPORT: 


  • Educational, environmental, humane and scientific organizations. 
  • Health and human service providers including children's organizations. 
  • Religious groups (all denominations). 
  • Cultural and artistic institutions. 
  • Membership groups such as business associations.
  • Family foundations.

How do you order a keg?

Please fill out the form linked below at least 2 days prior to needing your keg as we don't always have every beer available. Keg orders placed on a Friday cannot be guaranteed for pickup until Monday of the following week. All keg sales will require a fully refundable $100 deposit at time of pickup. 


PLEASE BE AWARE - It is required by Law that everyone with you at time of pickup is 21 years of age before we can sell you the beer that leaves MadeWest. Please be sure everyone has their valid ID.

Can you bring kids into the brewery?

Yes, children are welcome in the brewery but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 

Do you serve food?

We book a food truck 7 days a week. Please see our calendar here to see which trucks will be serving and when.

Can I bring food in with me?

Outside food is allowed to be delivered or brought in.

MadeWest can be found in a handful of locations throughout California. Please use our zip code locator to find MadeWest beer near you.
